OSHKOSH, WI, (July 28, 2010) - John and Martha King of King Schools and Redbird Flight Simulations unveiled Redbird’s Parrot project, an artificial intelligence driven radio communications training system designed to operate with all of Redbird’s FAA certified flight training devices. The Kings demonstrated Parrot running on a Redbird TD at the EAA AirVenture Press Headquarters today.

AUSTIN, TX, (July 21, 2010) - Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc. the fastest growing flight simulator provider, announced today that they have received FAA certification on the new TD2. The Redbird TD2, like the TD, is a table-mounted Basic Aviation Training Device (BATD) which allows pilots to hone their skills and log instrument experience. The TD2 comes in either a glass panel or steam gauge configuration and allows the pilot to fly with or without high-performance engine, retractable gear, and/or a constant speed propeller, allowing for complex and high-performance training.
