Today at Redbird Migration, Redbird announced the appointment of Eric Crump, Executive Director of the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE), to the company’s Board of Directors. “We’ve seen a huge growth in the education and K-12 market over the last three years," said Redbird COO and President Charlie Gregoire. "Eric brings immense hands-on experience in this segment, and we’re excited to have him on our board."

Today at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, Redbird Flight (Redbird) uncovered for the first time a proof of concept for a desktop flight training device that utilizes mixed-reality (MR) technology. Developed on the same platform as the company’s FAA-approved Basic Aviation Training Device, the Redbird TD, the new device adds a mixed-reality headset that amplifies a pilot’s visual cues, creating a more immersive environment for flight training.
The United States Air Force (USAF) is taking the next step in providing service men and women with advanced flight training. Over a 16-month period, the air service branch of the United States Armed Forces is taking delivery of 25 Advanced Aviation Training Devices manufactured by Redbird Flight (Redbird).
