Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc. is pleased to announce that its simulators have been selected by Zulu Flight Training, Inc. (Zulu), a subsidiary of Continental Motors, Inc. (CMI), an innovative flight training concept whose first training center recently opened in Mobile, Alabama. Zulu is a new concept in pilot training that is designed around a structured curriculum using advanced full motion flight simulators and advanced technology training aircraft to deliver a consistent, cost effective and safe path to obtaining basic and advanced pilot licenses. A key component of Zulu Flight Training brings the ground school and simulation training to the student by placing the primary training center at easily accessible locations within the population center. Aircraft operations are supported at one or more nearby airport facilities to maximize convenience for the pilot trainee.

OSHKOSH, WI (July 29, 2011) - Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc. and its industry partners, has announced the construction of a multi-faceted aviation research and development laboratory, located in San Marcos, TX. The new facility, designated Redbird Skyport will open on November 8, 2011. Skyport is the culmination of the efforts of Redbird Flight Simulations and King Schools and is supported by GAMA, AOPA, Cessna, Avemco and other industry partners. Skyport will be a first step in developing solutions to the challenges of a shrinking pilot population, staggering student drop-out rate and the ever increasing cost of flight training. The innovative aviation laboratory will include a full service FBO, flight school, and aviation experience center. All aspects of the project will provide a test bed for innovative hardware, software, business processes and ideas with the goal of revitalizing general aviation. The grand opening event will be attended by John and Martha King of King Schools, Craig Fuller of AOPA, Pete Bunce of GAMA, Mark Paolucci of Cessna and other industry leaders. Directly following the Grand Opening, Skyport will host a flight training symposium in conjunction with the Cessna Pilot Center Program that will feature presenters from Redbird, King Schools, Avemco, Cessna Aircraft and many others.

AUSTIN, TX (July 26, 2011)- Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc., a leader in the aviation training industry announced today that is has delivered two aircraft specific Advanced Aviation Training Devices. One representing a Piper Meridian and the other a Beechcraft King Air C90GTx. “These devices represent a valuable addition to our product line” said Todd Willinger, Redbird Flight Simulations CEO, “the low acquisition cost makes these simulators an attractive investment for flight training providers that utilize more complicated aircraft.” In keeping with Redbird’s mission to make flight training more affordable, these simulators are priced well below other devices of their kind. In addition, Redbird is actively working on expanding its aircraft specific product line to include the King Air 350, Caravan and Matrix/Mirage.
