Since the release of Redbird Pro in February 2022, Redbird Flight (Redbird) has added several new features and expanded the library of flight training content available in its innovative proficiency training app.
Today, Redbird Flight (Redbird) announced the inaugural Redbird Pilot Proficiency Challenge to motivate pilots to kick start the next phase of their proficiency training. Beginning during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, the challenge will award three pilots who improve their knowledge and skills the most over 90 days with prizes from the Redbird product line designed to enhance their flight training as they continue working to build their proficiency.
Redbird Flight (Redbird) is pleased to announce the release of three new flight simulator scenarios for its recently launched proficiency training app, Redbird Pro. Developed in partnership with experienced aviation educators from Flying Magazine, Red Eye Aviation, and the Learn to Turn program, the scenarios pose realistic challenges for pilots designed to improve their knowledge and skills in multiple areas of proficiency.
AirVenture attendees can use the software in the Redbird booth to complete a benchmark flight in one of the company’s FAA-approved flight simulators.
As many pilots return to their regular flying schedules from delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Redbird Flight Simulations is offering them a free opportunity to evaluate their current level of proficiency and develop a plan to improve it.
Pilots participating in the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center will receive an interactive debriefing experience through Redbird Sidekick.
Redbird Flight is proud to support the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center by providing 14 training devices, Sidekick data collection system, and its new debriefing application on Redbird Landing. The Pilot Proficiency Center serves as a gathering point for pilots of all levels to enhance skills, learn from expert instructors, and become safer pilots through effective simulation training. Those who visit the Pilot Proficiency Center will be able to choose from 32 different training scenarios. At AirVenture, all simulator flights will be recorded with Redbird’s Sidekick technology and uploaded to the Redbird Landing. Data collected by Sidekick will allow pilots to perform a thorough debrief of the scenarios at the Redbird exhibit or at home by visiting landing.redbirdflight.com/debrief. Attendees participating in the Pilot Proficiency Center will receive an ID badge that will identify and associate them with all of their training flights. At the Redbird exhibit space (located next to the Proficiency Center), they can retrieve their flight information with the QR code and review everything about their training session.
