Today atRedbird Migration, Redbird announced the appointment of Eric Crump, Executive Director of the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE), to the company’s Board of Directors. “We’ve seen a huge growth in the education and K-12 market over the last three years," said Redbird COO and President Charlie Gregoire. "Eric brings immense hands-on experience in this segment, and we’re excited to have him on our board."
Crump currently serves as the Executive Director of the Aerospace Center for Excellence in Lakeland, Florida. He is responsible for overseeing the state-of-the-art facility and youth education programs that run year-round on the Sun ‘n Fun campus. Prior to ACE, Crump was the Aerospace Program Director at Polk State College in Lakeland.
“Redbird has become the de facto standard in aviation focused on K-12 Career and Technical Development programs across the country. I’m looking forward to helping the company develop even more effective and powerful tools to aid primary and secondary schools in meeting the increasing demand for skilled talent, both in the aviation industry and outside it. The announcement was made in the opening session of the 12th annual Redbird Migration Flight Training Conference. This year’s installment is being hosted at the new EAA Education Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and will run April 11 and 12.
