Tom Haines Joins Redbird Board of Directors

Redbird Flight (Redbird) today announced the appointment of Tom Haines to its board of directors. Haines, the former Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Editor in Chief and Senior Vice President of Media, Communications, and Outreach, brings decades of experience in general aviation and a long track record of leadership across all types of media and communications.

Today, Redbird Flight (Redbird) announced the inaugural Redbird Pilot Proficiency Challenge to motivate pilots to kick start the next phase of their proficiency training. Beginning during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, the challenge will award three pilots who improve their knowledge and skills the most over 90 days with prizes from the Redbird product line designed to enhance their flight training as they continue working to build their proficiency.

Redbird Flight (Redbird) is pleased to announce the release of three new flight simulator scenarios for its recently launched proficiency training app, Redbird Pro. Developed in partnership with experienced aviation educators from Flying Magazine, Red Eye Aviation, and the Learn to Turn program, the scenarios pose realistic challenges for pilots designed to improve their knowledge and skills in multiple areas of proficiency.

At the 2022 Redbird Migration Flight Training Conference, Redbird Flight (Redbird) released its much-anticipated proficiency training app, Redbird Pro. Developed for use with iOS and Android devices, the app uses artificial intelligence and behavioral design to personalize the proficiency training of pilots and make the daily improvement of their knowledge and skills more achievable, enjoyable, and effective.

At the 2022 Redbird Migration flight training conference, Redbird Flight (Redbird) announced the release of a new flight simulation supplement for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s (AOPA) High School STEM Curriculum. The simulator supplement integrates seamlessly with AOPA’s curriculum, building upon its preexisting hands-on exercises with engaging flight simulator lessons that allow students to broaden the exploration and application of their knowledge and skills.
