Baron Configuration and Software Upgrade Released

AUSTIN, TX (November 23, 2009) Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc., announces that their highly anticipated aircraft expansion packs and Instructor Station 2.0 software are ready for delivery. The Redbird BE58-S, which represents the steam-gauge version of the Beechcraft Baron, is available immediately for all Redbird AATD's. In addition, Instructor Station 2.0 software upgrades, which adds much requested functionality is now also available to all customers.

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 1st, 2009) "Redbird has created the first affordable full-motion simulator with sufficient fidelity to be truly useful to VFR pilots, not just IFR pilots," said John King, Co-Chairman of King Schools. "This can reduce the cost of training, allow training when weather prevents flight in the airplane, and allow the demonstration of things you just shouldn't do in an airplane," continued King.

Every year, colleges and universities from across the country gather for the University Aviation Association Fall Education Conference. This year's conference is hosted by Kansas State University and will be held in Wichita, Kansas. Redbird is a proud supporter, member and sponsor of UAA and will be in attendance as an exhibitor. We will bring an FMX and an Xwind for demonstration.

It's summertime, which means that we are packing our trailer for our annual migration north to EAA's AirVenture. Hosted each year at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI, AirVenture is one of the largest airshows and aviation conventions in the world. Each year It attracts more than 560,000 visitors, 10,000 aircraft and 750 exhibitors. With the newly renovated and redesigned grounds, this year's show promises to live up to its title, "The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration."

Three FMX's Delivered

2009 is now well underway, and so are FMX deliveries. In late December, we delivered the first Redbird FMX, quickly followed by two more deliveries in January. The first FMX went to Austin Academy of Aviation, a Cessna Pilot Center located at Austin Bergstrom International Airport, in Austin, TX. Equipped as a C172 glass, the FMX allows Austin Academy of Aviation to train their students to fly a G1000 before they are cleared to fly the aircraft.
