Former CIO at Whole Foods Market, Inc. (WFM) to join Redbird Management Team
Austin, TX (March 2, 2015) –Redbird Flight Simulations of Austin, Texas announced today a key addition to its executive leadership team with the hiring of Michael Clifford as Chief Operating Officer.
Redbird to deliver 6 new RedHawk aircraft to Cochise College to upgrade training fleet
RedHawk Aero, a subsidiary of Redbird Flight Simulations, announced today that Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona has ordered 6 RedHawk aircraft in a move to upgrade and modernize their training fleet. Students enrolled in the upcoming fall semester will utilize the new RedHawk aircraft while training for Private Pilot, Instrument and Commercial Pilot Certification in Cochise College’s professional pilot program.
Expect to see the future flight training, including TRACE instructional technology, a "connected airplane," the VTO Helicopter Simulator, and RedHawk training aircraft.
The summer airshow season has finished, but the Redbird team is hard at work preparing for the company's flagship event: The Migration Flight Training Conference.
Twelve talented finalists will fly a Redbird simulator live, onstage at Oshkosh to see which pilot, student pilot, and aviation enthusiast will take home the Flying Challenge Cup
“When we opened the Flying Challenge at Sun n’ Fun last April, we didn’t know if we’d get a hundred participants or several thousand,” says Charlie Gregoire, VP of Sales and Marketing for Redbird. “So we’re pretty happy with the results.”
The Marine Military Academy, U.S. Marine Corps based secondary school will use Redbird’s Redhawk training aircraft and Redbird Skyport’s Migration training curriculum.
