Redbird Announces New "Navigator” Operating System

Starting a training session in a Redbird Flight Simulator is as easy as taking your iPhone out of your pocket.
Redbird Flight Simulations has announced a new operating system for its simulators called Navigator. Navigator provides users a simpler and more connected way to operate Redbird Flight Simulators. Using a variety of portable personal devices (tablets, smartphones, and laptops), Navigator allows flight school operators, instructors, and students the opportunity to control the simulator in a variety of ways and share that information through cloud-based software.
Former AOPA Director of Pilot Community Development Will Lead New Flight School Alliance
Austin, TX (March 12, 2015) –Redbird Flight Simulations announced today that Brittney Miculka will be joining the company as its Director of ImagineFlight, a new member-lead trade organization devoted to the development and promotion of quality flight training experiences. The new organization will be made up of a network of Redbird affiliated flight schools. ImagineFlight will bring the message of Redbird—an integrated, learner-guided, flight-training system—to the next generation of pilots.

Redbird to deliver 6 new RedHawk aircraft to Cochise College to upgrade training fleet
RedHawk Aero, a subsidiary of Redbird Flight Simulations, announced today that Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona has ordered 6 RedHawk aircraft in a move to upgrade and modernize their training fleet. Students enrolled in the upcoming fall semester will utilize the new RedHawk aircraft while training for Private Pilot, Instrument and Commercial Pilot Certification in Cochise College’s professional pilot program.
